I'm going to see this house at the weekend. I'd appreciate comments or advice on things I should look out for. For example, the roof type etc.

Or if anyone notices anything about it that I've missed.
I notice it was purchased for only £77k last year so the owners have clearly spent a fair amount on it. Not sure if the sale price reflects this. Also only having it a year is a concern.

My only concern is the property was bought last year for £77k - I don't know the local market at all.
But it looks well presented and I don't see any immediate issues.0 -
What's the cladding made of? Is it of standard construction? Front upstairs only has one window while neighbours all have two - what alterations have taken place? Is the rear projection an extension or original? (actually it looks like neighbours are all identical so probably original) Why did they think a high-level toilet cistern would make sense in a 1960s house? How much to replace all the ridiculous internal door fittings?0

Thanks I will find out about the cladding. No idea about the window so will ask about any alterations. Toilet cistern is bizarre!!!0 -
So did I. At least they aren't B&Qs best six-panel white 'cardboard' ones. I can't tell you how much I detest those six-panel doors. :rotfl:
Me too! and there was a LL on here yesterday saying how the tenant hanging coats on the door had caused it to deform. My instinct told me it was exactly those doors0 -
Wow, they didn't hold back.
It didn't occur to them to do the 70s house in a 20th Century style?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Usually, if you're only seeing pictures of the garden and not the inside on a sales page, the inside is horrendous. It's conceivable that they have changed doors, added a new boiler, redecorated etcetc, but asking for 38k more for something that was bought 10 months ago is asking a lot...Is it comparable to the area?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
