  • I would suggest you contact them at the end of this week to make sure its been received, once they have scanned it into the system its most likely that you will be sent an appointment for a face 2 face assessment probably at the end of this month, then you may have to wait upto 6 weeks for a decision.

Expect another face to face assessment because most people have them. They will send you an appointment letter if this is needed. There's no time scales for waiting times for this, it depends on backlog in your area.

Did you send evidence to support your claim? They rarely contact anyone for this.

If you are called for a medical I would strongly recommend that you go to benefitsandwork.co.uk, subscribe and read their guides.

Its not a medical as such but an assessment to see if you are capable of working, personally I have issues with benefits and work as they seem to work to an agenda, most if not all that they charge £20 for is freely available from the internet with a little research and from sites like this, scope also have an excellent free advice forum.

That's a very dangerous piece of 'advice' you're handing out. I don't have the strength to refute it today, but I would strongly urge anyone who reads your post to ignore it.

Really? i don't see any dangerous advice anywhere in the thread. Maybe you're seeing something i'm not?

Not quite but expecting the Form anytime soon. Already been through 4 of these assessments, failed on first two, had to appeal and won, last two 2 went OK as im still on ESA.

When you go to the face to face assessment, expect to be waiting long after your allotted appointment time to see the 'doctor', all four i had they always claim to be running 30 to 45 minutes late - at least in my area anyway.
