Green star energy bill issue

Hello all
Im in need of some help. I recently left green star energy after numerous problems, leaving me with a debt of nearly £570. So i duly set up a repayment plan to pay of the full amount. A couple of months in and greenstar took a final payment from my account and this then cancelled my direct debit. However i still owe them nearly £470. I phoned Greenstar to check what was still owed and the told me £470 and that i made my usual payment on the 1st of June. Now here is the problem, the money never left my account, i have no direct debit with them but they are convinced i have paid and do have a direct debit, even the bank agree they cancelled it. I have tried and tried to tell them as i dont want to get into any extra debt or suddenly be chased for the money. HELP as i dont know what to do anymore.
Thanks for any help.

    Thanks for any help.

The 1st was a Saturday, and no direct debits left anyones account on Saturday, nor Sunday for that matter.

It will take 2-3 working days from today for the supplier to be notified that the payment was not collected, possibly longer if they use a DD collection agency.

Give them a call this time next week and sort it out :)
  • That's what i told them, but they are so convinced that they already have my money and its come off my balance. You are right tho i will give it a week and try again, shame that there website currently wont let anyone login to check anything. Again thanks for the sound advice.
