No because I needed to get the info from the DVLA. If I request to pay the fine outright in full, can I pay to put aside also so it's done with?

#24 and subsequent posts advised you to get your set aside application in quickly!

The registered keeper has been made aware of this, but nothing could be done until the information was received from the DVLA.

Fully appreciate that, the registered keeper has requested to pay it in full purely to be fair and happy to do so even if the person was totally unaware the fine was issued, however the aim is to get it off the credit file - that's the important bit, so is that not negotiable as a pose to being one or the other?

    Thanks

If it is paid it will be marked as satisfied on the credit file. The ccj will show for 6 years.

But if this is the case, won't that stop the person obtaining any credit for atleast the next few years?

Did you point out to the RK #24??

    Time was of the essence!

If the clean credit file is essential then the only route was a set aside

How long now since the RK was aware of the CCJ?

A satisfied CCJ does still cause issues

Sorry but I'm not sure what RK is? But either way the party involved was requested to contact the DVLA, and I have only just received the response in writing, so nothing could of been done till then.

Who requested you to contact the DVLA?

Instead of doing a set aside application quickly?

You were advised here of the urgency in getting an application in weeks ago

    (RK = registered keeper)

Just going on further from previously posted, could it be requested to post the witness statement/draft order here just to see if it's ok and to see what you all think, would be much appreciated:) No wording which could be used as a defense against the defendant will be posted.
