Bank statements from 2011 to 2014

I had a current account with Lloyds from 2010 until March 2014, when I closed it. Very belatedly, I've just realised that in December 2013 I almost certainly made an overpayment from this Lloyds account to my then lettings agent - but I do not have copies of the statements to prove this. So I'd like to request the old statements from Lloyds, but of course it was a long time ago and I'm no longer a customer. Ideally I would like statements stretching from June 2011 to January 2014, but if that's not possible (or if they'd charge me through the nose for that many) then at a minimum the statement indicating the overpayment in December 2013 will probably be sufficient.
Does anyone know what my rights are here please, and also what "soft pressure" (if any) I can apply to maximise my chances of getting statements from that far back? I do not mind paying a reasonable amount for the statements if I have to, but I'm not sure that should be my opening gambit! I'd even be happy to become a Lloyds customer again, if that'll help.
I live near a Lloyds, so my preference is to drop into a branch rather than do it over the phone. Despite the account being closed so long ago, I've found I can still log into online banking, where the statements used to be stored - but my old account is not listed and I get a holding page saying online banking is not functional.

Unfortunately I'm just beyond the 5-year point mentioned in this link: I closed the account 5 years and 3 months ago. Is there legislation that requires Lloyds to actually keep my records for longer than this, and which gives me a right to access it? Or is this transaction history genuinely lost now? I had thought (and hoped) that 6 or 7 years was a more likely figure, as I have seen these figures in the past regarding record-keeping.0 -
Isn't it usually six years?0
