Roaming

Is there a provider who gives unrestricted roaming in the EU, and is likely to continue after Brexit? My current provider, EE insists that I spend 2 months out of every 4 in the UK to be able to benefit from free roaming

That is standard, you are using a UK SIM and subject to roaming rules that (I think) are set by the EU for EU wide roaming. You are liable to have a smaller data/calls allowance while roaming too.

The only provider that so far claims to continue with EU wide roaming after brexit in the same manner as before, is Three. Others may follow, but as far as I know they haven't stated they will.

All networks restrict the duration of free EU roaming, including Three who provided it with 'Go Roam' long before the EU regulations required it. For an extended stay a local SIM is probably best, what's your program?

Perhaps my best option would be to change to Pay As You Go

No network in the UK or EU do a unlimited scheme, they all operate to the rules that were set out by the EU.

Three are probably your best bet. They did "roam at home" long before it was made law and will continue afterwards apparently.
