There is no relevance. Cash may be an acceptable form of payment, but so is cheque, direct debit, credit/debit card, brass buttons etc if the parties agree to it.
Legal tender is not relevant because its a legal mechanism only under english law where you cannot be sued for the non-payment of debt if you offer to pay the debt in legal tender.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
