The family decided to spend just £10 on each other this year and give a donation to charity instead.
The idea is to see who can come up with the best and most imaginative ideas..I think I'm HOT favourite! with these and the Tesco 75ml bottles of wine for 50p...:j...the FREE 320 litre compost bin that just arrived...LOL:T..the FREE T shirts from RSPCA and the FREE photo mugs from Truprint who paid me £4.80 for buying each of them......This post was created in an area that may contain nuts!0 -

Hi all
as an Avon Rep myself, I find that we cannot now compete with all the online deals - although we can offer the products at the same price, plus free delivery - we cannot give other discounts.
So, my question is - if you had an Avon brochure through your door, would you have puchased from the Representative, or would you prefer to order online?
Your thoughts and comments and suggestions welcome please!0 -
Hi angie
I wouldnt have order via an agent.
I ordered online this morning, never having used avon before.
It was my day off work so I had a long soak in the bath with note pad and pen thinking about xmas pressie ideas.
came to this site for ideas and bargains and went shopping whilst sitting in my primark pjs and dressing gown with a cup of tea in left hand and the mouse in the right!
Shopping how and when I want to , cant be beaten, and I dont have to sit in traffic/on a train to busy shops or make polite chit chat to some one in my home, nor look through pages and pages of stuff I am not interested in in a catalogue.
Sorry I am an internet shopper.0 -

I prefer to order from a representative, problem I have is that they quit after trying doing it for a couple of month. They just stop handing out the brochure without letting the customer knowing they not doing it no more. Therefor i find online is more reliable and use it more.0 -
Avon is also available through Rpoints.
Have just ordered £20 worth of goods for £4.50 delivered - bargain.
Not only did I save money but the strain on my arms of carrying 2.5 litres of bubble bath plus the damage to several people's ankles who would have been bashed with my bag - lolOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

If a Avon brochure was (and has on a number of different occasions by different Reps) pushed through my letter box I have always returned it with a polite "no, thank you" with the excuse that we have an Avon Rep at work, which we do.
If on the other hand if the Rep knocked on the door, introduced themselves, handed me the brochure, maybe with an exclusive voucher for door-to-door Reps,or free samples or pointed out offers that they knew would interest me it certainly would be something to think about.
But since the brochure just landed on the door mat I might as well sit and order it myself online.
I think for me if I saw the Rep trying to make a bit more effort at the point of sale rather than just being a postie, I would consider using them.
I do understand there is probably a lot more to it than that but when it comes down to it I am trying to get the best deal for my hard earned money.
Hope I don't come across as being horrible it's just I like good customer service.:oCrazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100
