Sony Bravia firmware update

Have been using my 2 Bravia TVs for years to stream content (music, photos, videos) from my Network Drive. In the last week Sony have introduced a firmware update that has prevented the TVs from recognising any of this content. This has seriously reduced the functionality of my TVs and completely destroyed my home entertainment system. Do I have recourse to Sony for reducing the functionality of the TVs without warning and rendering my home entertainment system useless.

I also have the same TV and i believe Sony have updated the software again, mine is working ok.
Try a forced reset,take power lead out of the tv for 2 mins.
