    3. Is sending our reply via letter using a 1st class stamp the usual and most appropriate method for replying to a LBC?
Yes, getting a free Certificate of Posting at the Post Office counter when doing so. The item is deemed delivered two working days later.

    1. If the driver wishes to defend the case at what point should, or can, the RK disclose their details?
If it is currently in the RK's name, the driver can't defend the case unless the RK names that person and gives their address before court action commences.
    2. The LBC only mentioned 3 PCN's when a total of 4 have been received . Do you think they will try to bring the other one as a separate claim and therefore waste the courts time further? Should this be mentioned in our reply to them?
Yes ans yes, use/adapt the wording you find when you search the forum for:

two claims? abuse of process consolidated
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What if the driver wishes to defend the claim? How does the RK go about disclosing their details and at what stage before court action should this be done?- namely, before or after replying to their LBC?

Is it just writing a letter or an email to the ppc and their solicitors with the driver's name and address?

    Many thanks
