UKPC parking charge at the gym group
Comments

"Unfortunately the gym group were completely unhelpful and there is a sign up in the gym saying that the car park is nothing to do with them"
go back and ask them who is to do with?
and you will be cancelling your membership with them if you do not get an answer .... as the membership is now far to ££££...
a landlord / owner is often the best way to sort things ..... carry on with the excellent advice above while you ask ...

Thank you.
I will ask, but the gym doesn’t have a reception, only the PTs who don’t care. I will send an email but there are signs around the gym about how many members they ban each month for minor issues. Yes I’m moving my gym when I get a new job.
POPLA is sent now, thank you for the advice. Will update when I hear back0 -
Thanks all for the help so far. I now have received operator information and evidence from UKPC.
Their main points are:
- denying that UKPC use predatory tactics (- shall I reply with one poster's link to the guardian article?)
- stating UKPC offer a 10 minute grace period +1 minute in total (not 6 minutes to enter and then 6 minutes to leave as we put as suggested by CM) and we are 90 seconds over that!
- Disagree about signage
- Won't show the landowner contract as it is commercially sensitive
-"Regular quality checks are carried out on our ANPR equipment and the keeper's comments regarding this matter are wholly unsubstantiated." Can we ask when they were last serviced?
- There are also photos of the car entering and leaving, with a timestamp on them (along with copies of the letters)
Any suggestion how to reply to this? Do we need to?0
