You should write NEVER phone a PPC. Send the letter first class from a post office and ask for a FREE certificate of posting (POP). NEVER use a signed for service as they can/will refuse delivery and then have proof of non-delivery - not what you want. Keep a copy of the letter with the POP stapled to it.

UKCPS surprisingly do not have an email contact for the DPO. Someone else posted about this issue and that they were legally required to accept SAR in electronic format. Do you guys think I should phone/write to them and ask for email address or is this unnecessary contact?

    That's not correct!

    Well done!

That was the only way to remove this scam, outside of court. Glad it worked!

Now next time you enter any private car park, read the signs and do not leave the car unless you are complying. Or, leave and park on street.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thanks
The really annoying thing is that I phoned the chiropractor to thank them for sorting it (and gain a little more info!) was told it was a parking attendant not cctv and also that he may have ticketed me when I dropped ticket back in. I was also told that sometimes people are caught out when they go into the building to get a ticket (which you have to do for 4 of the spaces!) Bloody scam!!!!!
