Moved house, too late to appeal PCN, next steps help needed

Hi!
First of all I hope I’m writing this in the correct place, if not I apologise. I’ve read all the threads and have got myself in a confused muddle as there are several problems with my case:
On 28the Feb I attended a chiropractic appointment and parked in an allocated space in a private car park for this. 3of the spaces are labelled, 3are not- when parking in the 3 which are not a bit of paper should be displayed (collected from chiropractic clinic). On this occasion I cannot honestly remember if I did display or not but the chiropractic clinic can confirm I attended the appointment so had a valid reason for being in one of their parking spots.
I moved house in January and whilst I changed my licence address I did not change my logbook (big mistake I know).
When we moved house the new owner agreed to pass all post on to us (either didn’t in this instance, in which case correspondence should have been returned to sender or the letters never came through).
On 28th May I received a forwarded letter from UKCPS, a reminder letter for a parking charge ‘without a valid permit or authority’ for £130 (sent 17th April) - this was the first I knew of any of this!
I immediately wrote to them explaining my situation and giving them my new address as not to miss further correspondence and the clinic have also contacted them too (they have been able to cancel them before).
The day after I sent my letter (I received a letter from DRP a ‘demand for payment’ for £160. I phoned citizens advice who told me I should call the DRP and ask them to put it on hold (I know realise this was perhaps another mistake), they obviously refused saying it was too late to appeal and wouldn’t hold when asked if I was now going to pay I said no and I was merely acting on the advice to ask to hold, I had done that and I still wouldn’t be paying.
31st May (today) I received a reply from UKCPS acknowledging my correspondence on 29/5 but as it had now been passed to DRP I needed to contact them (definitely not happening again!) and that they will not enter further correspondence.
I know now after many hrs of worry and reading I can ignore DRP and until a court summons I don’t have to do anything but I’m worried there’s a stage I’ve missed as obviously I was unable to appeal early on, is there anything I can and should be doing now? What do I need to collect if it goes to court and how do I go about this? Also what are the chances of it getting this far?
Sorry for long message and 101 questions but I’m very worried and losing sleep!
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!

Ignore anything now unless/until you receive a Letter of Claim or a court claim from the Northampton CCBC. Come back on this thread if you get either. Letters from DRP do not count and are totally ignorable.

Why isn't the chiropractor getting in touch with UKCPS and telling them to stop harassing one of their patients, and getting them to cancel the PCN?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    Thank you for this.
I think I shall write a strongly worded letter to the chiropractor as whilst they have sent an email themselves in response to a phone call from me, as far as I am aware they are awaiting a reply. I think they pretty much left the ball in their court.

Definitely ask the chiropractor to insist that this is cancelled. saves a lot of angst, even though what you describe is a perfectly winnable case for you as a defendant in small claims court ask the chiropractor why on EARTH they think their clients should be threatened like this and have to go to court?

UKCPS have no place even being there. Horrible firm.

Do you think I should ask for photos etc from UKCPS at all or literally just ignore anything else I get through?
Also I was wondering is it possible to cancel a charge once passed on to debt collectors (and do the chiropractors stand any chance of being successful) or are UKCPS just being difficult? (I think I know the answer)
    Thanks again

Send them a SAR by email, like the NEWBIES thread explains with an example.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

    Is.this an NHS establishment?
Google nhs parking principles if it is.

and post anything you intend to say to them on here first before you send anything off, to prevent yourself shouting yourself in the foot.
plus most employees are clueless about private parking company's, and there own / there companys responsibilities regarding PPCs and other third party agents acting for them/on there behalf

Yes. The landowner can ALWAYS tell their scumbag PPC to cancel.

UKCPS surprisingly do not have an email contact for the DPO. Someone else posted about this issue and that they were legally required to accept SAR in electronic format. Do you guys think I should phone/write to them and ask for email address or is this unnecessary contact?
