The number is 07976 682 7878 and it is an actual Orange Dialing Code..If you nominate it as one of your chosen numbers and they accept it.You should be able to access all the countries shown on the https://www.pre-dial.com
site (SEE UNDER FREE DESTINATION LIST) and UK Mobiles.and landlines. The reason they speak about Contract phones is because it was originally intended to be used out of your inclusive contract minutes. The other no 07792 231 6447 is also an Orange No,this is the one they use in there points system.

The Simply- Fone Access No 07744 974 963 is an old Dolphin Telecom No,and O2/TMobile allow access to it still, as if it is a normal mobile no.It does not work from Orange/Voda.Because Tesco Mobile is run by 02 there is a good chance they will treat it as a normal number, but i would tread carefully on this.

I dont know what Tesco M charge to call NGN 0844/0845/0870/0871 numbers it could be just 20p.But you are not allowed to nominate one for half price calls, and you dont need to ring them for intl access .if they allow you to nominate one of the mobile numbers.

Yes if they allow you to nominate them, you would only be charged for once for the call to them. The follow on call is not charged.(The follow on call couldnt be charged anyway, because you dont have to open an account to use them like you do on 18866).

Excelent!! In that case I will nominate one or both of these numbers and add all my friends and family. But hang on a minute what’s this number 07744 974 963?? I don’t see it on there web pages. I can only see 07744 97 3333.

Anyway, I guess the latter is Simply- Fones new access number and regardless I will be adding whichever number to all the numbers I call and as Andy88 has said …to avoid force of habit enter both numbers with pause between then Send.

One more thing, I suppose I should keep a couple of numbers separate from these access numbers for texting when I’m out and about, otherwise I will be texting via 118 888 and CBFSMS.com.

You can call any UK mobile via Pre-dial, but not via Simply-Fone. Unless you wanted some of the extra countries of S-F I'd just go with Pre-dial.

You can actually save numbers like that (ie incl 'p') in the phonebook (some SIMs don't like numbers this long, but the phone is ok), or dial the access number with + on the end and it opens the phonebook, then find in Options something like Send DTMF; I find the former method easier. If your phone allows multiple entries per name, you could keep the number on its own as 2nd option.

I tend to copy my saved numbers to add extra ones otherwise my phone want allow more digits. I will try your + method if you can elaborate a bit more on this. As you say Simply-Fone is for calls abroad only I will in the meantime be adding Pre-Dial to the numbers I call frequently. The ‘p’ method sounds like the easiest option though, so I will be using this method most of the time.

I just hope Tesco will except the Pre-Dial Number.

Please report back on whether Tesco does accept Pre-Dial please! (Hope so!)

Might i suggest you Guys keep this info restricted on a selective need to know basis if it does work.Because if everybody and there brother registers the same friends no,they will surely become suspicious, and block the number.
