I feel you on the mental health side of things - it is difficult for the person going through it (often me) and for those around them who are trying to offer support and care and fill the gap.

Glad you had the enjoyment of the show.

Good point @beanielou I'm enjoying watching the impact of the small payments, the total debt figure will start with a 4 soon too so all heading in the right direction.

The boys jackets have arrived from V!nted and are in fantastic condition and both fit too, in fact they are both a bit too big for them but given how quickly they both grow it shouldn't be a problem for long.

Hosting a small family gathering this afternoon so popped to M&S for some biscuits, fruit and cupcakes to have with a cuppa. £20 spend. I had a £2 rewards voucher from the M&S CC that I used towards the balance and then sent a £2 overpayment to the CC so thank you M&S for my free £2 🤣

    Today's PAD: £3 to M&S CC & £1 to Savings.

    Debt total now £5096 (M&S CC £496)

You're right @Sarahwithlove the small payments really do add up, I'm enjoying recording the small wins and making a game out of reducing the debt and building savings, checking here daily is helping with my focus too.

Day off today so while the boys & DH were out at school and work I've got all the bedding washed and pegged out, got caught out by 1 small shower but other than that it's been an unexpected great drying day.

Beds have been remade and work/school shirts ironed. Ran out of time yesterday with family visiting. Was a lovely afternoon/evening but all of our social batteries were wiped by the end of it and we were all tucked up in bed and asleep by 9 (kids) and 930 (us).

Also took Mum for her shopping today and spent around £50 on groceries for us, these combined with the freezers & cupboards being well stocked should keep us away from the shops until the weekend.

Won £5 on a scratchcard so sent that to the CC along with the daily PAD.

Another small win today was having enough points earned on M!crosoft rewards to cash out a £5 Ama3on voucher, I've added that to the others I've earned this year and now have £59 of vouchers saved on my Ama3on account to use towards Xmas gifts.

    Today's PAD: £6 to M&S CC & £1 to Savings.

    Debt total now £5090 (M&S CC £490)

Just having a little break as I'm flagging at work this afternoon 😖, hoping a coffee boost will see me through the last hour. I'm blaming DH for this as he decided to do some very loud snoring at 530, couldn't relax enough to get back to sleep with it being so close to my 6am alarm.

Once work finishes, I'll be picking the boys up then having a quick bite to eat before taking DS1 to club, DH not home until 6 but he'll pick DS1 up from club at 8.

Cashed out £10.04 from Pro!ific this morning, kept the 4p and sent the £10 to the CC as I'm enjoying seeing that balance dropping now it's below £500.

    Today's PAD: £11 to M&S CC & £1 to Savings.

    Debt total now £5089 (M&S CC £489)

Funny how an interruption in that last bit of sleep can just completely leave us wrecked isn't it - such a small amount of sleep lost but such a big impact!

Great work on paying down - nice to see M&S into the next level!
