Thanks SH
I'm looking forward to the side job, get to use my brain more than in the new job. I'm in the office today and it's SOOOO quietI've got all my routine tasks done already (I think others must really stretch these out whereas I just want them done and dusted), so I'm sneaking on here and have Prolific open in a separate tab. Naughty but need something to fill my time in!
£1 interest from the Cha$e account & £5.12 from Pro!ific added to savings yesterday, good start to November. Also got RAC renewed at a discounted price and with 3 months extra cover following a phone call, result!2 -
Yesterday can be summarised as small wins - Pro!ific while I working resulted in a balance of £1.35 with £6.60 pending approval. Just transferred a whopping 39p Cha$e cashback to savings
and have woke up to a V!nted sale worth £2! Also cashed out a couple of times on Z!pzero last month which meant a saving of £10.50 on our broadband DD yesterday so have also swept that across to the savings too. Not life changing amounts but all adds up.
Also got on top of laundry, just have a few shirts that need ironed but should get them done today, the house is looking reasonably tidy too, massively helped by the boys having a big sort out of their toys last week, they did a great job.
Today I have a hairdressers appointment (will use personal spends for this) and then I need to buy some supplies for packed lunches/snacks to take on our trip tomorrow. The weather forecast isn't looking great sadly but that's what waterproofs were invented for so we'll make the best of it, if it gets too bad the back up plan is to head to our hotel a bit earlier than planned and have a movie night there.2 -
Successful hair appointment Friday, my hair got a much needed cut and is looking & feeling so much better. Filled the car with diesel and came home in time for the weekly shop being delivered. These costs all came from the Cha$e account (I then transferred the hair appointment costs from my personal spends) so this has generated £1.77 in cashback which I have just sent across to savings.
Good day yesterday taking the children on a trip to an age appropriate theme park, they had an amazing time & DH and I also enjoyed a few of the rides with the boys 🙂
The weather was temperamental but we were fine with our waterproofs on. Taking a packed lunch meant spends were minimal - I spent £2.95 from personal spends on a coffee and the boys spent some of their pocket money they had saved up in the arcade.
Got back to the hotel and enjoyed our evening meal before settling down to watch The Adams Family so a nice chilled evening for us all after a busy day
I've slept soundly since around 10pm but have been wide awake since 5am so I'm currently istening to the radio with my ear phones in while catching up on here.
Thankfully DH is driving us home today so I don't need to worry about feeling tired and having to drive.
Checkout isn't until 12 so we can take our time getting up and having breakfast, will see how everyone feels before deciding whether to head straight home or to explore the local town for a while before heading back.

Sounds a fun weekend if busy.

We ended up visiting the local town before we headed home Sunday, not much there but was lovely to have a walk out before the 2.5hr drive home. We bought the boys some Xmas themed PJ's to wear in December and they spent a little of their pocket money in a toy shop. We were stuffed from breakfast so didn't need any food until we got back home but we did pick up some soft drinks from H0me Barg4ins to keep us going.
Yesterday saw us all return to school/work and sorting the laundry from our weekend away. Same again today (minus the laundry), also have a call about the side job this afternoon so hopefully this means we're closer to a start date for that.
Still have around £8 in pending surveys to be paid on Pro!ific annd have moved my A$da rewards to their Christmas Saver pot, in order to be eligble for the £5 bonus later this month. Monthly interest has been applied to the savings account today so that's a very nice £62.07 earned there.
Not a lot more to add today so I'll leave it there2 -

Thanks Beanie x
Woke up to £7.50 payable from Pro!ific and 63p cashback from Cha$e so swept both of these to savings. Also sold another V!nted item, only £2.47 but it all adds up.
Side job starts next week so next week will be busy but manageable I think given the other job is quiet.
Today sees another meeting for the side job this morning and then a meeting at the DS2's school this afternoon, with as many chores as I can squash in inbetween, priority being the bathroom and the utility room. The weather forecast is awful so might as well crack on with some indoor tasks!
Hope everyone else is okay x3 -
Hope the weather wasn't too awful.
Free money is lovely isn't it. Sounds like you are managing to get out and about with the family which is good.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks SH, yes got to love free £'s
Bathroom & utility tidied yesterday, got the Halloween decorations put back on the loft and then brought down a bag containing Xmas jumpers/pj's. A lot of these are now outgrown so spent some time listing them on V!nted, generated2 sales alreadyAlso popped up to visit Mum, good to catch up.
Today's free money to report is £2 from V!nted and 38p Cha$e cashback.
Day off today, going to have some chill time to myself as working the next 5 days across both jobs so going to relax while I have the chance.2
