Maybe I was just lucky that it worked (and also got an assistant that was willing to try!) It was at Boots on the Sixfields retail park in Northampton.
I best dig out the reciept (I seem to have collected a few over the last few weeks)
and check if it was doubled then tripled or the other way round
Sorry if Im confusing anyone - I know Im confusing myself!!! ;0)0 -

It really annoyes me that they don't change the prices on the shelves, I was in Boots today and saw many of the items mentioned here but they were all priced at the higher prices! Grr, it wouldn't be so bad if the sales assistants didn't mind checking items but they get so annoyed with me! I think it would be great if they had the scanner machines in Boots just like they have in Tescos!0

I know !!!!!!!
Everytime I ask them to check the price, they scan it for me, but the extra saving only comes off if they total it, which is the bit the sales assistants don`t like doing for whatever reason !!!!!
The sales assistant told me that when an item is scanned, if it has an `s` next to the price on the till that means theres an extra saving on it. so they usually scan it and say that it`s less than the price its come up as !!?
Sorry if that makes no sense ..... lol !!!!!!! Long day !!!!!!!!!1Debt Free Jan 2010!(Be happy) the state of your life is nothing more than the state of your mind! X:j0 -
went into bath with my mum today and the ladies on the tills wouldnt price check any items for us, they still had the jamie oliver pasta kits at £15 and i only paid £2.75 for mine so i questioned it and she said they havent reduced theirs yet,i told her this was silly as all the stores charge the same price so i said i would buy that one and she wasnt happy when it came up at £2.75.
why are they so mean ????
mum and i then did a big shop and used a 10% off voucher and went back to the same lady to really annoy herADOPT DONT SHOP......🐕🐕🐕🐕0 -

A you see!ha - i thought Diet Coke was on offer, couldn't fahom out why i wasn't even £7 for diet cokes, one volvic lemon, packets of yoghurt covered raisins and two packets of banan chips, i know the latter part with the four packets of fruit and nuts is £3.96!!
Shame there's no Meal Deals @ my local branch anymore to get the coupons out of the machine.
Oh i was @ the Retail Park branch on Wednesday and i didn't get a Meal Deal as it would have been sitting in a car for three hours by the time we came out of the cinema and then went home. They didn#t have ANY decent bags of chocoalte sweeties for the cinema to sneak in, so had to make do with a tiny packet of raisins with sultanas instead - and today when i went to the downstairs bit in Eastgate Centre to find Diet Coke they had shedloads of 250g Maltesers! Typical!my advantage_card is like gold dush0 -
im still trying to suss out the meal deal bargains.is it cheaper if you buy 2 cokes in your meal deal?is it only coke it applies to?0
