Don't know if I'm posting this in the correct place or even if it has been posted before but please forgive if Im wrong I'm a Newbie :o)

I know it won't apply at the moment because the triple points offer has finished but for anyone who has a double points coupon around the time of the next triple points offer you can double your triple points total. I used mine last weekend and it doubled the total triple points, at first I thought it would not not work and I joked with the assistant could I have double, triple points and she said she didn't know if it would work but she would try and if  it didn't I could have my coupon back. It worked!
I was gutted though because I actually hadn't spent that much! :0( There's always next time.

Wow, i have never tried because the coupon says not in conjuntion with other promos or something along those lines, will give it a bash!! Thanks.
  • Been told in the past by Inverness Eastgate Centre they won't take a double poitns coupon on a triple poitns day so i don't bother trying to do it anymore - too well known in there so quite embarrassing if i get knocked back - now make sure i use coupons seperately so they can't whinge and only take one copy per issue of the free magazine as they wouldn't let me have more than one copy in the past! grrrrrr!

Could probably get away with this malarky @ the Retail Park branch where I'm not so well known but I resent paying over £7 in taxis as a way to get there and back safel as sometiems all i may want is a £2.99 Green Meal Deal.

Luckily my grandmother has arranged to take me to the cineam on Wednesday and has said I can definitely go to the RP Boots first, yippe aye yah.

That would be it then, didnt realise there was a charge for this. Have to see if i can get it changed tommorow.

    Thank you

Rung them this morning and the chap was quite severe with me but after a lot of pleading he did agree to refund the delivery charge for me. Now I have to keep an eye on my credit card statement to see if it actually does happen.

Bought an Early Learning Centre wooden Jigsaw from Boots today. Full price was £10, reduced to £6.66, but when I went to pay for it, it was £4.23. It's a picture of a Fire Engine and when you put the pieces in the right place it makes a 'nee nah' fire engine noise and a lights up.

I managed to use a 200 points coupon from the machine, a 300 points coupon from the mag (or could have been one sent to me) on Time Delay stuff which was on a 3-for-2, plus used a double points voucher, although it didn't double all my points. Still I ended up paying about £46 (after using the 10% discount coupon from the magazine), saving £34 because of bogofs, etc and got about £12 in points. I'll try the double points with triple points next time it's on. I tried before but it wouldn't go through. I find the retail parks are better at accepting these multiple coupons plus they don't seem to run out of the stock that's on offer.

I am wild with envy, none of the Boots I've tried have had any of the bargains mentioned, so far tried 5 different ones, all shapes and sizes.

I did though get today two round lego x pod sets, not sure what they are called but I thought that they would be useful, unusual items to put in the boys Christmas stockings. Come the middle of December I am always desperate to find small quirky things for their stockings (13 and 15, very difficult ages to please :) £1.77 each.

The contents of the stockings usually cost more than the main presents and take weeks to find!

    Mary

£1.77 for the lego kits, not the boys but if anyone wants to make me an offer...

I've always thought that if you use a double points voucher during triple points, (if they accept one) you will get double and then triple your original points, not triple double points, if you see what I mean! E.g. if you get 10 normal points, then +10 double, then +20 triple, so 40 points total. Didn't think you'd get 10x3=30x2=60?? But if it's worked for someone, well done!:D
