What bothers me more is where are they emptying the buckets they must be using for toilets. You can't empty a chemical toilet down a normal one. It has to be emptied into a chemical toilet system The reason we got plumbing was to help public health so does this mean that we now have a lot of people with no access to sewers?

We have rules about picking up after your dog but what about the ones for picking up after people living in vans or does it just get chucked down storm water drains?

My point exactly, and it is not the only concern, they are starting to meet up in groups creating more rubbish and disturbance and it won't be long before we have another group of people in this country that will play the system and use the media to say how hard done by they are and how they are picked on.

Why would anyone be envious of people having rental properties?

I've heard a rumor that rental properties generate income without having to do 40 hours of mind numbing work every week.

I can't possibly imaging why someone would be envious of that.
  • OP if I were you were you I'd be far more concerned about your own mental health and well being.

''Obsessed'' doesn't even come close to describing your all consuming fixation with all things property related.

I can’t imagine either. I’ve a friend who rowed for Oxford, that’s something to be envious of.

    Plenty of downsides too.
Try the insurance forum for a fire started maliciously by a tenant and excluded from insurance or the housing forum for the tenant in arrears who did damage now applying for an IVA.

Personally I’m not envious but congratulate those who’ve done well (much better than being a crash troll and doing nothing but whining).

I wasn't aware that 24 hour supermarets had showers? As for the peeing they probably do it just anywhere.

Saw an article on this a while back. Apparently residential areas that have public toilets are very attractive sites for the van dwellers as it avoids the whole chemical toilet business. Theres a residential area somewhere in London with toilets and is so full of vans and campers, the residents cant park near their homes. Thanks, EU!

What’s the connection with the EU?
