Some providers sims have the number in their firmware. Others have the numbers assigned when you register and top up for the first time, so they don't lose their allocated numbers when sims aren't ever registered.
So those won't show the number in settings.0 -
Its normal for me too and Im on Virgin too.
As long as you can make and receive calls and send/receive text messages.0
