Hi all. Is there such thing as an ‘all market’ estate agent or only agents covering a certain area? The reason I ask is we have quite a strict idea of the house type/style we want to buy but are not really bothered about area (obviously not a rough, run down area) but we are open to options within a 15 mile radius of my mums house so wondered if there was an agent we could contact with house specifics that would then search for us. We are signed up to right move etc but wasn’t sure if that was the only Avenue. Thanks
Remember agents are hired - and paid - by the vendor.

There are, as has been said, search agents - but who pays them...? The buyer...

Very few agents aren't on RM, and if you're in a relatively well defined area like that, you can quickly and easily build a list of target agents and talk to them directly.

An EA won't be discerning. They will still call you or email you with anything/everything that comes onto their books in your price bracket.

In fact, I suspect that you'll get more focused, relevant results from your searches on Righmove etc, than from asking EAs.

Once you do the top level search right move has a keyword option on the results page where you can add multiple keyword.

eg with swimming pool on a search I did earlier

    can be saved and reused

and now with town house added
Thanks! I've complained several times over the years to Rightmove.I guess they finally listened!!!
