New Broad band provider

I have signed up with new provider for Broadband and telephone transfer, got email from old provider stating it's only my telephone been provided which is rubbish they got date of transfer correct but it was for phone not BB. I have not agreed with old provider about them putting me on unconditional contract or evening and weekend call package.
Is it possible for :)me to terminate my contract with old provider without notice suitable for me. I am considering reporting them to Oftel :)

Have you tried calling them to see what is happening? I'm sorry but you post doesn't make much sense.

    Oftel ceased 2003.
But as said very hard to understand your post.

OP are you saying existing supplier will not let you swap as you are in contract .
If you are in contract then you ask the provider to end contract and you pay the remaining months or whatever fee they decide.

An unconditianal contract do you mean the standard monthly contract ??

See previous BB posts by OP.
When did you sign up to old provider ??Is this Plusnet as per your older posts .

Existing provider said in their email only telephone is only been transferred which is not correct.
I do not want to contact them until I feel a bit better and I do not enjoy negotiating with them only want to leave them.
I will do web chat later when I feel up to it to see what account the company set up for me without my agreement to any of it first ?

If your current provider uses Openreach to deliver service to your home , then by default , if you cease or migrate your telephone service then your broadband will also cease as you cannot have broadband on its own without a host telephone line to deliver it.
It could be your phone provider is confirming the transfer of the phone line but for whatever reason they think they do not provide your broadband ( it used to be quite common for line rental and broadband to be with different providers ) , if you do use the same provider for phone and broadband , they cannot stop you migrating but if you are inside of a minimum term contract then early termination charges could apply.

As previous thread OP needs to post actual details if they want help .

Still reading as OP in contract and trying to leave without paying contract .

Thank you for that info think current provider is paying games with me. I got router from new provider and just want to leave older provider, as I did not agree to any of their charges can I insisted on invoice for the last payment to them.

Invoice on your providers account page .

Repeat you are still refusing to answer questions that may point you in the right direction .

    Again

Old provider when did contract start and most important when does it finish .

As said phone contract monthly or twelve month is finished but broadband contract is longer than that .

Odd that the OP dishes out abuse but still refuses to answer the basic questions .

Refusing to answer basic questions and instead dishing out abuse always makes me smell a fraudster .
