PPI Reclaim - Capital One

Hi All,
I used Capital One's PPI checker tool so see if I had PPI on a card I had a few years ago and they have confirmed to me that I did.
The only thing holding me back from pushing ahead with a claim is that there do not appear to be many (if any) reported PPI reclaim successes reported on here.
Has anyone had any luck with Capital One?
Thanks!

Its quite simple really. If it is clear that you have a valid reason for complaining and a policy was not sold correctly, then you should complain. If you knew you had PPI and chose to have it, then there is unlikely to be any reason for complaining.I work in Data Protection and spend my days dealing with CMC's. Only here trying to help!!0

Yes I have, it wasn't much but I only had a low credit limit so I didn't rack much up on it. Was really easy and they sent me a cheque0

What happened to someone else is irrelevant as each case is unique, if you feel you were miss-sold, then complainSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I fail to see your logic here?super_saver123 wrote: »The only thing holding me back from pushing ahead with a claim is that there do not appear to be many (if any) reported PPI reclaim successes reported on here.
If everyone waited to hear reports of success before proceeding, no one would ever complain!
If you have a valid complaint then make it. What have you got to lose?0 -
Thank you for you helpful comments. I do believe I was missold and I have put in a complaint.0

Yes it is worth pursuing if you can just do it yourself and save money as well .0
