I have had to apply to the FSCS as the company I had PPI through no longer exists. They have requested information from Barclays and Barclays declined to deal with them, I have requested the same information from Barclays, this was over a month ago, and I have heard nothing from them. Does anyone know me what my next step is please.

As you were told a year ago, Barclays have no liability. They didnt sell the PPI to you. Carcraft did.

As i stated in my post the fscs are requesting the information. Barclays wouldn't give them the information, and the fscs have asked me to obtain the information0

You were sold it by Carcraft so Barclays won't give you the information as Carcraft were their customer. All you could do is send a SAR to Barclays and see what data they have on you and see if that turns up the information.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
