Offshore Investment Platforms

I am currently a UK resident but am considering emigrating possibly next year. I am looking for a reputable offshore investment platform that will not charge exorbitant fees and allow me to invest in funds/ETFs/shares pretty much like I have been doing with Fidelity with my ISA. Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions? Thanks

Wouldn't that depend where you are emigrating to ?0

In my case, no. I am looking for something based in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man etc0 -
I have a delta account with CLI, their range of funds is quite limited though and they aren't cheap as platforms go.

Thanks, but too limited for what I am looking for.
Are there any offshore platforms that will allow me to buy UK shares? Hence I can invest in investment trusts and ETFs?0 -

Have you tried Internaxx who are based in Luxembourg?

HTHIn case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
I don't know if this would satisfy your requirements but you can have a look.

They state in t&c 'We may
accept an application from you if you have an address other than in the Republic of
Ireland or Northern Ireland at our discretion.'
So, you would need to contact them if you would be eligible to have an account.0 -

Have you asked Fidelity whether they would allow you to keep your trading account with them? Under normal circumstances so long as you are a UK resident when you open an account you are free to continue to operate it after emigrating. (Obviously there are special rules for ISAs, meaning that you cannot add funds once you have left the UK.)0 -

I have contacted Fidelity. No new funds are permitted (ISA or non ISA), I would need a UK bank account to withdraw any funds (not a problem), but unfortunately I am not able to switch funds either.
Any suggestions of a UK platform that I could open now and will allow me to manage my holdings after I have left the UK?0 -
Open an account with HSBC and open a brokerage account with them. They have offshore versions in CI/IOM0

Thanks. It is possible to open an offshore account with HSBC and invest in listed UK equities etc.
Is it possible for an offshore entity to invest in UK unit trusts such as Fundsmith Equity, Lindsell Train Global, Rathbone Global Op etc?
If so, any suggestions of who I could contact?0
