MSE Forums Thanks ticked automatically

Not sure if this is the correct forum to write this post. When I post an item on any forum the "thanks" box for all items in that forum are ticked automatically. This is not my intention as in my opinion all post are not necessary helpful.This has happened on two forum posts I have Posted on in the past few days. Why is this happening and how can I correct it please.

Are you using the green forum style?


The thanks button has a green tick on it, but that doesn't mean you have pressed it. When you have pressed thanks, the button disappears.

I presume they mean the 'Lift not working at Torbay Hotel' thread, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6003873/lift-not-working-at-torbay-hotel in which they've apparently 'Thanked' pretty much every post (although not all strangely). Unless they 'Unliked' a post however that's all I can see.

Correct It is the "Lift not working at Torbay Hotel thread". I did not tick helpful box on any replies except the original post, but thanks came up on all of them which I cannot remove.

Just put it down to one of those things I think. It's got a WoW Factor Thanks icon on it which I've never seen before, I guess that's down to all of your thanks

This is the only thread it's happened on I presume?
