Perhaps this depends on their rules and who patrols the car park. Unlikely I would think.0

Don't think so, no. Thread about it here,

If the car is SORNED, how are you going to get it there? You cannot drive it on a public road.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

Mot due tomorrow turns out I need a part that I can't get for a week or so, a sensor haven't sorned it yet so car would be sitting on road with no mot, I thought sorning it would be a better option.0 -
I'd be quite surprised if any council car park would let you stay there for what may look to them to be an indefinite period - if the car isn't taxed they may decide it's abandoned so don't be surprised if it ends up in a pound somewhere.
Why not take it to the garage and ask them to keep it off road for you until the part turns up so that you can get the MOT done? I guess they'll charge you but it'll probably be less than the cost of retrieving it if it gets towed.0 -

They often do not allow overnight parking, tax it today and just park it on the road.
Even if an ANPR police car did drive past your car, they need you to be driving it, to issue a fine.
You are allowed to drive it to an MOT center without an MOT.0 -
Is the car taxed and insured? if so, just leave it on the road. having not MOT does not mean you need to SORN it0

No, the offence is 'using' the vehicle on a road, not 'driving' it. There is case law to establish that a parked vehicle is being used.
Also, you are only allowed to drive to an MOT center if you have made an appointment.0 -
You don't need to SORN it just for no MOT.
It is a major crime to "use" (includes parking) a vehicle on a public road without a valid MOT (except whilst driving it directly to a pre-booked MOT). However it is just a fine (could be upto £1000), and no points.
The simplest is to get that part quicker, you could pay a lot more for it and still be better off than with a fine for no tax/breach of SORN or no MOT.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)
