OK, I will revise the question. How much does an induction hob use with everything switched off ?

If its got a clock on it, it may be 5W-10W. But the pdf for a Hotpoint says Zero, off/standby mode. Look up your model.

An internet modem/router if not the tenants, so left behind would be 10-20W

Thanks, Markin. I suspect our hob uses some electricity but there is nothing in the book.
Another unexpected consumption might be an entryphone.

150W Set off all night by cats, Even hedgehogs!

Front door lamps with dusk dawn sensors are popular now. 7W all night.

I Used to have a 500W that with a short power cut would stay on all night and day until seen. And no dust dawn so triggered in the day anyway.

Oh yes, definitely cats. One of mine deliberately walks that way as she goes out to trigger it, but the other one isn't as smart.

However, both are good cats, so don't stay out past 11pm. :D
