Laptop battery

Hi, can anyone recommend somewhere that we can buy a new battery and charging lead for our HP laptop model HP 15-ay013na I have seen online but I’m not sure if they are a safe site or not

A pukka HP charging lead is here (check I have the correct laptop model and then look at the cable)

Or could buy a cheaper - non HP - unit eg (really need to confirm connector is correct size - should be ok)

I don't see any difference from the charger sold on Amazon for £20 and the ones on eBay for £7.

Check the aperture of the power connector before proceeding. It should be 4.5mm.

Personally, if you were willing to spend £20 on a knock-off, I would spend £18 on the original HP part.

Batteries, yer takes yer chances. I've never had a dodgy one. They'll start from around £11.

Three year old laptop needs a new battery?
I'm still using the same battery on eight and nine year old laptops. Only have lost around thirty minutes of charge time since then.

My laptop's not HP, but I've been buying pukka manufacturers ones rather than risk a cheap Chinese counterfeit that sets fire to the house. The first cost thick end of £100 though, and the second was about £70.
