stockmarket and the elections

Has anyone got an idea what may happen to the u.k stockmarket on Tues, assuming Nigel wins the european elections?

    Who knows......personally I suspect the expected results are mostly priced in by now, so only if there are any major surprises will it have that much of an effect.

    There's still plenty of other things going on in the world though......

    Suspect that there's more interest in the Trump\Chinese negotiations. As certainly seems to be rippling out and impacting European manufacturing output for example.

    Likewise with British Steel, Jamie Oliver and Philip Green all having a difficulties in the past week. Seems as if the winds are finally changing direction. Cheap debt is no longer enough to sustain underperforming organisations.

    I can't see how a surprise result in the UK part of the Euro elections will effect anything much at all really.
