Heated air dryer or tumble dryer?

Iam thinking about getting either a tumble dryer or heated dryer. Did anyone have any experience with these and which one will be cheaper to run

Depends on how much washing you need to dry and how much space you've got, and where that space is.

If you've got space then I'd get a tumble dryer - they have the advantage that they can handle large loads and they put less moisture into the house, either venting it externally or condensing most of it.

An advantage of a tumble drier (we have a heat pump type) is that the clothes come out nice and soft.

This make ironing a lot easier and towels come out fluffy, rather than stiff - which is how they dry without movement.
