I’ve just seen an advert where Specsavers give 25% off for over 69s.

Pensioners get free bus passes as well, and free prescriptions. Children don't pay VAT on clothes, so get them cheaper. Is that age discrimination?0

It's age discrimination of course, but it's not unlawful age discrimination. It's one of the exceptions.0

Men and women born on the same day now get their state pension on the same day - so no inequality or discrimination of any kind.
And of course, anyone can retire at any age - regardless of gender.0 -
