The big Win 10 May 2019 is on the servers and slowly rolling out to users.
This is just a heads up to be aware and to have a current backup in place .
Backup even though you will be able to rollback this update.
Might be worth checking on older equipment drivers before not after install .

Yep, but no hurry. If you want to do the install manually, download the ISO , mount the ISO and install it. NB. at current time won't install from USB (all connected USB drives must be removed otherwise install will fail.)

Upgraded 2 antique machines without problem. My laptop failed as incompatible because, as it usefully informed me, there may be some incompatible programs or drivers !

I used the Windows update assistant to update both my 2-in-1 ASUS Transformer and my normal laptop, other than being quite a slow process both updated without any issues.

6 now updated including my laptop :T. Don't try to do the update with an SD card in the slot :o. 4 installed English US language packs with initially no obvious way to uninstall :( Figured out you need to go to settings / time and language / language / windows display language and set to English US then set back to English UK and it will appear as an option in preferred languages and can then be deleted.
  • Is there a direct link to download the ISO, I take it this is the official release not still in insider testing?

    Thanks.

not sure if that is what you are looking for. i used the update assistant but that link also allows you to create the installation media
