Leave sky even if locked in contract

I recently successfully left sky with no early termination fee while still locked into a contract. Unhappy with my April bill increase I decided to call sky and offer my 31 days notice intending to leave sky to be told I was still locked into a contract. I explained I had made a series of poor financial decisions of late due to mental health and I was put through to accessibility department who processed my contract termination immediately.

Maybe the OP is inferring that we should lie.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0
