Hi Lil_Me So sorry to hear about that terrible accident. Very scary.

Gunsandbanjos - grocery challenge is going great thank you- really managed to cut down on spending. Kids didn't like tonight's meal though so they endded up eating most of it and then wanted toast. Had a breakthrough with some tutoring money too so will be ok now but the cheque doesn't clear until the end of the week.

Absolutely knackered but want to stay up and watch Panorama on the McCanns. Can't wait to tackle the rest of the downstairs tomorrow.
    Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!
  • Hugs lil_me! How horrible!

I woke up with my whole body aching today, so done no flying (not sure what I've done, must have slept funny)
Finishing work at 10pm, but by then the site will be down for maintainance!

Will have to log on early tomorrow, I think I'll have an early night tonight.

  • gosh lil-me. How awful. thankfully no worse than it was. Imagine if that poor woman in front had hit that tree too. I have to say people amaze me. When i crashed i hit someone coming the other way but accepted all responsibility and wouldn't have dreamed of driving off even if i would have been in a fit state to do so.

other thing that stood out, pigpen, take your sleeping bag to the meeting too as OFSTED means lots of meetings and lots of stress. Hope all goes well for everyone at the school.

Rach - hope WW goes as expected tonight.

nicki - loved the notes, we have tear off slips in our planners so parents can just fill in a couple of lines like that if needed. To be honest though, most parents just ring up and give the reason on the phone.

big hugs to the rest of you. Really must go and do some stuff now. It has taken me ages to catch up.

Hugs Lilme - that's really scary! Could have been a lot worse.

Well had quite a productive day today:

Wm x 2, BM x 1, changed our bed as Lo was sick on it this morning!
Hoovered all downstars, cleaned kitchen floor, cleaned kitchen worktops.
  • Ok first day, pouring down and jobs done inbetween manic dashes to get errands done:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
    Level One

Clean floors in these areas done but already covered in wet paw prints:confused:
    Level Two
    Wipe down surfaces done
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards done
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, firdge, freezer etc) done
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe & replace small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!) done

should be able to get a few extra bits done tomorrow as less hectic schedule
:DA smile costs nothing to give but enriches those it is given to!:D

There is a window in now but the fella couldn't get it to go up and down, it was pouring down and very dark so I've said we'll take it to their depot over the next couple of days and get it looked at, poor bloke was fighting on with it for nearly an hour trying to get it to work and was soaked through. At least it is now dry and secure for the night.

I forgot the good news bit, Kenwood are sending me a DHL label to return the food processor for repair, the code on the bottom basically gave them enough info to say it would still be within warranty so was ok to not have the receipt :D they said if they can't repair it (can't see that happening as it was oozing yellow gunk which have basically disolved the feet!) they will replace it, so maybe not £120 wasted after all.

I've not done much of the kitchen yet but have set away the dishwasher with some cleaning stuff I bought as when I was cleaning the dishwasher filter I noticed how much it smelt and it's not cleaning properly I don't think. Will refill it once it's finished working it's magic(if it works), that'll clear most of the bench.

Washing machines on for about the 20th tine today, ok the 7th but feels like more, must get to the 'bottom' of why DS2 is wetting the bed again. He didn't for 4 weeks in a row and now it's once every 5-7 days again.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

I've also done 30 mins ironing this morning so quite pleased with what I've got done today.

You may notice I've deleted the dining room from the title - not because I've done it or I haven't got one - But because I'm not even going to start in there!:o

Thought I'd better get on and post before it goes down. I've gone tired now though so I may go to bed.
