VCS Letter before claim

Hi all,
I got 2 parking tickets (1 unfairly) from 2014 when I used to live in an old apartment. Stupidly I ignored them. After hearing nothing for nearly 5 years I have just received 2 "letter before claims" from VCS control limited. There isnt even a phone number to ring to get in touch.

Im not even sure how they got my address because they posted the letter to an address that I've lived in for 6 month and haven't changed my address with DVLA yet...

I have 2 days left to send back the "Reply Form" which I should have done because I have a genuine reason notto pay the first ticket.. Is this too late now?

ShallI just suck it up and pay or is there anything I can do? Any help would be appreciated. Tyia

Absolutely DO NOT pay but you have several problems that need to be addressed when emailing their DPO the SAR that the NEWBIES thread 2nd post tells you to do (please read it).

    You need to ALSO:

    - tell VCS to consolidate both LBCs into one claim or it will be an abuse of process and you will ask for one to be struck out, and

    - tell their DPO that they do have your correct 'address for service' (the one they traced you to) and that they MUST NOW ERASE the old address data, under GDPR rules, and rectify the address for service ONLY to the one the LBCs were sent to.

If you don't do that email guess where they might send two claims to, behind your back, next month?!

    Get that email done.

The NEWBIES thread has an example SAR but you need to add more.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?

Did it come from the County Court Business Centre in Northampton, or from somewhere else?
