However is it worth me contacting the Court for an update?
Why not? It costs nothing and brings you bang up to date with the lie of the land. If there's been any failure on the part of the defendant with meeting deadline dates, for example, ask the person you speak with what remedies are open to you, and how do you seek them.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks, I've emailed the court. Will update as soon as I hear anything back.

  • Hi

I have received confirmation from the court that the Claimant provided the required information and so the case will be going ahead this Thursday afternoon.

I've sent my Costs Schedule to the court and GS, and I've finished compiling my file ready to take with me.

Thanks for all the advice and help I've received, it's been invaluable and I would definitely have thrown in the towel without it.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Make sure your costs major on the fact they couldnt even maange a simple court order, despite being a "professional" firm with vast experience.
  • Will do, it's in my list of 'unreasonable behaviour'. That and the deliberately/negligently falsifying images.

    Thanks
