No longer on Super Fibre 1 but been on it for five years and never seen temp IPV6 .

Suggest you use the BT contact us Complaints form and post .
A simplified version of your 7-55 post is what i would send .

Nothing wrong with download upload or ping you say . Problem is web sites not loading timing out .

I've gone down the complaint route, when i was supposed to get a response in their time frame, i contacted their online chat and they couldn't find any reference numbers even thought I had taken a picture on my phone to make sure i didn't get it wrong.
So i've lost faith in that system.

May have to go old fashion via post method....

Thanks, I've got like 4-7 temp ipv6 address. This is occuring on both WIFI and network cable on laptop and desktops in my house. So its basically what ever is connected to my router.

I think you are going to have to pin down the issues more in order to persuade BT to act.

The issue with moving suppliers is that most other suppliers are also ultimately supplied by BT Openreach using the same infrastructure. So, if there is a fault outside your home it's likely that this will transfer to the new supplier.

However, the symptoms described are puzzling. AFAIK, there is nothing special about those kind of banking authorisation transactions from a performance POV. If it is solely or mostly that kind of transaction that is problematic then it suggests something other than a pure performance issue - for example, the Bank(s) may be leaving the transactions hanging because of a perceived security problem.

In terms of obtaining suggestions here, can I suggest that the following info would be useful:-

    - Type(s) of equipment on which the problem has been encountered.
    - Browser type(s).
    - The name/type of the service you are signed up to with BT.
    - BT's claimed speed for your line.
    - Your actual speedtest results.

    As above .
Looks like BT cannot understand the problem you are posting .
Your post says router gets correct speed from network .
Connections from ( new )router are subject to timeouts and slow loading .BT probably saying not our fault its a user problem .
Contact ISP they send out OpenReach who find no OR network fault and charge you .
If you left BT then if it is a network problem you could well be carrying it forward either OR system or your setup .

After a quick Google (I'm no networking expert or even novice BTW) you should see multiple temporary IPv6 addresses as this is apparently normal. The temporary ones are used for security and will vary over time.

Have you tried taking your laptop elsewhere and checking, even a public WiFi connection would do.

I googled the same thing but I couldn't come to conclusion why this could be.
I dont know anyone on my street whos with BT that I can check to see what experience or what IPv6 address I get.

However as mentioned before I have tethered both WIFI and USB connection from my mobile to both my laptop and desktops and get a smooth online experience when web browsing.

I think I will end up having to take my base unit (just to be sure) to my parents house and use their internet to see how it responds. They are not on BT but with SKY but it will eliminate my computer being at fault.

The IPv6 temporary addresses issue is nothing to do with the supplier, I'm with Sky myself and currently have 2 temporary IPv6 addresses.

thanks for checking, I need info like this to confirm if my suspicious are correct to lead BT that I'm still having issues with my internet.
