    No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

    So I guess I should update my story for when I look back. My house sale completes tomorrow :) exciting but tiring times. Currently sat here looking at my conservatory which now resembles a warehouse. Feels strange as I'm moving into my Fiancée's house (yes she said yes!!) for a couple of weeks whilst hers touch wood exchanges and completes. The house we are buying after getting a long way down the road with another one which the sellers then pulled out of,  is still being built so may actually spend a few weeks homeless shortly. Exciting and worrying times.

    Oh and the dog is still on slimming world and failing badly
