Hi Everyone, just wanted to provide you all with feedback on my appeal.
Thanks for all your help in this matter
Please see the response below:Your appeal against the Parking Charge Notice (PCN) issued for the incident on 28 Apr 19 at Festival
Leisure Park has been considered by our Appeals Team having reviewed the evidence and your
submission your appeal has been accepted.
Please be advised, the businesses on site provided Care Parking with their staff’s vehicle
registrations at the beginning of October, so are fully aware of the parking restrictions in advance of
these being enforced.
The Odeon are also fully aware of the apparatus on site which were installed as a gesture of good
will in order to extend genuine customers stay at this location, which have been used over 41,000
times.
If the staff on-site hadn’t made you aware of this and you have failed to see the businesses
individual advertisements, this is not down to Care Parking, nor does it alter what is stated on the
contractual warning signage in place.
However, as the businesses on site are tenants, and not Care Parking’s client, we are unable to
comment on their communication with their customers, but as our signage was installed on site 6
weeks prior to the enforcement commencing, we would assume this is sufficient warning to the
business and customers alike.
You do not need to take any further action and the PCN has been cancelled on our system. For your
information, the cancellation reference is XXXXXXX.0
