mobility scooter insurance and breakdown

I added my scooter to my house insurance to cover me for third party liabilty (running over someones foot etc) for free -just had to give the details of the scooter to the insurers !

I got my scooter insured through Eden mobility it was only £37.99 for their basic plan. They only offer the one plan as that is what most users would need

Users of scooters are normally careful with their scooters taking no risks.

You are covered in your own home under your contents insurance for agreed single item limit.
Depending on scooter cost you may have to notify them & up the limit.
Using it away from home it is covered if your policy has personal possesions cover, this will again be an agreed limit
As for breakdown auto aid cover
you, not the vehicle are covered.
If you have this already for your car. they should cover mobility scooter as well. Worth asking them to confirm this
