Many thanks.

I've never seen an automatic van?!
Can't you get a friend to drive?Savings - £18,500 @ 5.22% Average0 -
I've also never seen an automatic van. I used to run a van hire company too.
That's not to say they don't exist, however, a van implies a load - and in my opinion, you'd have greater control over which gear you are in with a manual gearbox, so I can see why it would be impractical for a manufacturer to ever make an automatic commercial vehicle.
Get a friend to drive. It will be easier all round.
If you don't have a friend ... maybe somebody here struggling for cash that lives close by might help you out for a couple of folding bits of paper.
Or just find a "Man and Van" advert in your local free paper0 -
There certainly are automatic vans. All VW's and Merecedes for example are available with automatic transmission. Finding one for rental however may be a different matter.0

PasturesNew, very heavy loads up to 44 tonnes or more can be carried by automatic vehicles. Most emergency vehicles used by the fire & ambulance services are automatic & there are many automatic large goods vehicles (LGVs).
Back in the 1970s Ford Transit based ambulances had a 3 litre petrol engine with auto box. From 1979 fire appliances from 10.25 tonnes fully laden had ''stick shift'' auto boxes. From around 1997 fire appliances have had ''push button'' auto boxes which had already been tried & tested on commercial vehicles for several years.0 -

I take it that you are nothing to do with bucks car hire and they chose to call themselves after you because you are their best customer? After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?0 -
