Britannia parking PCN

I have read the thread from Newbies regarding appealing this PCN but i am not sure about a few things.
i recieved this PCN eight days after contravention occurred.
I parked in Waitrose Mill Hill whose parking is controlled by Britannia and I overstayed by 8 minutes from 8:26am till 11:34am. I was not aware of any parking restrictions which means their signs are very poor. No windscreen ticket was received, but I am unsure how to appeal this PCN. it is payable for £50 in first fourteen days and £95 within 28 days. Is there a template that I can use to appeal to britannia? and not sure about the whole POPLA thing either..

Isn't 8.26-11.34 overstaying by 68 minutes - or have you mistyped?

Did you use the Waitrose store and, if so, have you got receipts etc?

If so, then as C-M says raise the issue with Waitrose in the first instance

I've got say it's hard to see how anyone can spend over three hours in a supermarket. As far as I can tell this one doesn't have a cafe, either. I can get round in twenty minutes - including coffee.
