Yes I have seen something like £95 loss of earnings, + 45ppm + parking. I was curious how one would get to £700!

£255 was in court fees so that bumped it up a fair bit.

I can only think of salary for the time spent at court and maybe travel to/from?

You can claim for your time at £19 ph, for research, posting here, attending court, salary if you are highly paid, stationer/photocopying and, if they obtained an improperly conducted CCJ, perhaps stress and DPA misbehaviour.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

How on earth do you quantify/evaluate stress and misbehaviour to demonstrate a reasonable cost?

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

If I needed to I would post of other forums, research other cases, consult solicitors, and then take a wild guess.

By using case law that supports such a claim, such as:

    - Google Inc. v Vidal-Hall & Ors
    - Halliday v Creation Consumer Finance [2013] EWCA.
    - and if a case involves disability discrimination distress, we adduce the 2017 judgment at Leeds County Court, 3SP00071 - Blamires v LGO.

    Hi There Justica!
Just putting together my own witness statement and summary cost assessment for a parking charge court case coming up in the next 6-7 weeks .
I wondered if you could share your cost assessment on here? so that I can see how you have set this out & what you have included?
    Thanks

It;s not the same as a SUMMARY COSTS ASSESSMENT which has to be signed & dated and is new advice.

We used to suggest a costs schedule = not quite the same clout.
