broadband provider paying my BT exit fee

Hi,
I still have 6 months before my BT landline and broadband contract ends. I am paying over £30 per month, very expensive.
Do you know any provider that when you switch would pay your exit fee to terminate the contract? In my case Bt would charge me £78.
Thanks

£78 as opposed to 6 x £30 for your contract . Are you 100% sure of that .0

I recall EE used to do this. and some others.
Worth having a good.0 -
Be aware their may be a significant charge for equipment if you cancel .
That depends upon what contract equipment was sent out for and time since .0 -
Did I misunderstand and bt said £178?
Will call them again. Thanks.0
