I was actually looking for an example of a person who "denies the busts" and is a "perma prop bull". I have never encountered any such person whether in life or in 20-odd years online, but AG seems to meet so many that he can talk about little else.0 -

That's because they only exist in his mind (as no doubt you also are aware).Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

The most recent example 2007-2009
You asked for just one example
But there are countless others, depending on how far back you are willing to lookNothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -
There are many perma prop bulls on here, some still haven’t come out yet, but you can tell this is what they are by constantly ramping property and coming down hard on realists who say there is good chance we will see another bust period and falling property prices soon.Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0

Right so you can’t actually name any of these posters.
That’s because they don’t exist.0 -

Do you consider me to be one? If so, please explain why, please be very specific (because I will be in my reply).Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
I don’t know who is he referring is, but if he means us chuck then he’s totally wrong about how badly affected we’ll be as we’re about the least leveraged and the least reliant on capital gains.
The bit the crash trolls don’t seem to get (and I’ll name 2 - AG47 and crashyTime) are that I can live in my house for the next 40 years for free and it doesn’t matter whether it crashes.
Yes sure I’ll have to spend £2k on a boiler every 15 years but that’s small fry compared to rent or a mortgage.
(And it’s not this keeping me up at 5)0 -

For me it was never about capital gains, it was all about the yield providing an income for financial independence. Of course I did expect decades later to have a windfall with capital gains, but that was so far ahead in the future form back when I first invested, that I never really thought that much about it. But that time has now arrived.
My dog gets me up this early (for his breakfast), he's gone back to bed now though, that has turned into a daily pattern.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0
