No more boom and bust?

There are reasons why it's less likely that we'll ever have another housing crash. Although that isn't to say it's impossible, but there is zero evidence d.
There is evidence going all the way back to when records began, it has always been boom and bust cycle that has not ended despite what the perma prop bulls say.
The issue is that the perma prob bulls think boom and bust is over.
Those of us who are more realistic know the truth that after every boom there will be a similar bust.
The last boom has been one of the largest in history o the next bust will be similar.
The perm prop bulls will be soooo wrong when the next bust comes. The longer this boom last the bigger Nd longer the next but will be.

You are absolutely correct that a future series of events will lead to a period of declining house prices.
Problem is of course that the bust is never as deep as the preceding boom. Which is a an issue for those who are sat round desperately clinging to some delusion that prices will be heading back anywhere near where they were ten years ago.0 -
All depends on wage inflation. The UK as a whole hasn't been particularly productive in recent years.0

The perma prop bulls wouldn’t agree with you there, they will never admit to a period of declining house prices on the horizonNothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -
The property market does crash periodically then another boom then another crash, always happened this way always will
I suppose it depends on what you call a crash, and some crashes are bigger than others.
But one thing is certain the next crash isn’t too far off.Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -
Around here prices have risen barely more than 1% per year on average since 2007, and I don't think that's unusual outside London. Considering inflation, it's been more of a slow crash than a boom, I would say.0

Can you name some of these 'perma bulls', personally I think that they only exist in your mind.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Some try to say this is the bust just ten years with stagnant prices, it no this is not the bust it just keeps being postponed, it is still to come,Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -

Whilst you’ve been waiting (I’ve been seeing this since 2001) I’ve bought a dream home and I’m now mortgage free and in the run up to early retirement. If this takes a few years I could well be retired.
I’d encourage people to just get on with their lives.0 -

Crashy sold his house in the late 90's, so he would probably be now approaching that mortgage free point if he had not sold.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0
