bought widget which comes in several pieces
opened the slightly damaged packing and one of the bits is missing
emailed the seller who after a couple of emails told me off for accepting a damaged parcel (not that i could see it was damaged until closer inspection) then proceeded to virtually accuse me of stealing it, FUMING is an understatement
opened a return request as part missing
tbf i could have made the missing piece easily enough but its going back on principal now and feedback will be left when its sorted
sellers not replying now the case has been opened!

Some sellers do not help themselves at all, we do occasionally see signs of it on here , the idea that all buyers are scammers and all sellers perfect.
As sellers I'm sure we all have problems, and as a buyer I would never mark a seller down in any way for a lost or damaged item- as long as seller takes some sort of responsibility and stays polite while they sort it out. The moment a seller gets hostile with me I treat them to the silent treatment, I follow the rules, don't argue or complain but don't make any attempt to meet them halfway at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. How did you get one with the case OP?
Hi, i escalated the case this morning, about 30mins later i got a refund, as the seller never replied to the case they just refunded it
think i am going to throw the item away as its no use as i already got its replacement
the next question is do i leave feedback at all? sellers ultimately lost out, i can understand things break or get lost in the post, its just the sellers attitude that stinks!0
