Thanks NG and SC. We will see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Life is too short to be stressed and miserable, so I've been applying for a lot of other jobs, mostly part time. That way I can have a guaranteed wage but be able to try streaming more 🙂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

It sucks when your "value" is only seen when you hand in your notice. 😠
As SC says, get them to give you the dates for your training to keep them on the straight and narrow.

Wow. Well at least they reacted even if they don't follow through. Hang in there. You have a plan and for each day that passes you are in a better position than the day before (that's how I like to think about it!). 🙂2025 decluttering: 3,984🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Good to hear you put your foot down! Sounds like they've completely been taking advantage of you. Hope they do get their backsides in gear, but it does also sound like you have a plan if they don't!3

Thanks Grogged, Jess and Cheery! ❤
If this Covid nightmare has taught me anything, it's what is valuable in life and although I would love a bigger house with a garden and garage, at the moment we have a roof over our heads and it is a very comfy and cosy little house, that compared to some others costs very little. I can therefore afford to actually put myself first and hopefully end up doing something that will make me happy 🙂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Happy weekend! 😀
It's been a nice week here, as it was half term we had boyo come stay with us for the week. We were a bit naughty and had a treat of an indian, but we've started ordering half portions of the curries we choose, as we have found this to be more than enough and cheaper! Work has been busy as usual but OK. The new lady starts on Monday, so fingers crossed she stays and I've been told I can keep my temp assistant for another couple of weeks as well (I must have really terrified my boss!).
I made another small payment to the mortgage and it is now £57,400 exactly. I'm itching for my 10% allowance to reset so I can make an overpayment but it won't until the 27th. My plan is to pay £1600. When it does. This will leave me with £1k in savings still and I will go under £56k. Which is two boxes crossed off my chart! Eek, exciting!!

Hope she's a stayer.
Well done on the mortgage, don't you wish you sometimes you could fast forward life, maybe to the 27th?😆If it's not adding up, compound it!2
