If this is not your setup then we need a bit more information on how you are accessing Gmail.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0 -

If you are using it in a web browser you should have a "Google Account" icon at the top right, below the address bar. If you click this you should see all of the accounts available and clicking on the one you want to remove from the list will bring up the "Remove" button option.

I think you're getting confused by the terminology.
You have 2 email addresses, let's say they're ...
aardvaak1@googlemail.com
aardvaak2@googlemail.com
Therefore you have 2 accounts:
One account is called aardvaak1@googlemail.com
The other account is called aardvaak2@googlemail.com
Google allows you to link accounts - so you can see them both at the same time.
i.e. You sign in using one email address, but you see emails for both accounts.
So it sounds like you have linked the aardvaak1@googlemail.com account with the aardvaak2@googlemail.com account.
So what do you want to do? For example:1. Un-link the accounts - so that when you log into the the aardvaak1@googlemail.com account you only see emails for aardvaak1@googlemail.com
And when you log into the the aardvaak2@googlemail.com account you only see emails for aardvaak2@googlemail.com
Or2. Completely delete the aardvaak2@googlemail.com account, so that you can never send or receive emails again using the email address aardvaak2@googlemail.com0 -
(the OP doesn't want any accounts deleting)
Or 3. just stop the email address being displayed in the browser?
This depends on the browser, but if the OP logs out of all googlemail accounts, if he sees something like this, then to "remove" the unwanted account from the list, click on the "Remove an account" button then select the email account to be removed from the list only.If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0 -
edddy just used your forum name and made up the addresses to make the explanation easier.

He didn't need to ... anyone with an ounce of common sense could easily work out what he'd done. After all, how many people use a significant part of their real email address as a forum name? (Oh - you do).0 -
